Fikri’s Experience in USA

America is a big country. Consisting of fifty states. A wide range of world cultures was intermingled. But cowboy country and culture generally became one of the emblematic  and characteristic of the famouse about America.

One of his student in senior high school number 2 prabumulih, named Fikri Rahmat, has participated in student exchange, but before he participated in student exchange, the first he followed a test AFS.

He said, the school facilities are complete starting from the students in indonesia students call the teacher maybe with mr,mrs,sir,mom or another, but in senior high school in USA, students call their teachers with the first name, and he said in there to have school bus for student in their school, the colour is yellow and many students use it.

In senior high school in USA has subject. Different in indonesia, in indonesia it has approximately sixteen subjects. Indonesia people considered the clever in there. He felt odd when he saw student kissing in the classroom, where as there is teacher who is teaching. Different in indonesia. If school in indonesia utilizes uniform school, school in USA not using uniform school and female students in USA wear short skirts when at school and oddly enough anymore they play football by hand.

Fikri said that indonesia culture and western culture are different and he also said nine months of school, three months summer could work his friend, could buy his own car from the result of the work and it makes him feel jealous. The big difference is religion, Fikri is moeslem but maybe in there not many people with religion is islam, although different he did not ignore it and he just believe with his religion.
